It was such a pleasure to be able to capture so many joy filled moments at Friendship Trees Farm & Christmas Shop in Friendship, Maryland this year. I was overwhelmed by the response when I started offering these this year and truly enjoyed my time with every family that came out.
We had beautiful weather for tree farm sessions this year, mostly warm days and only a little rearranging due to rain. The days were filled with laughter and lots of dance parties and races under the blanket (these are clearly a favorite of mine).
We played peek a boo behind the Christmas trees, and hug your brother often turned into tackle your brother (I have two boys myself so I totally get this!).
All in all, it was a really good time. I had one family tell me that I gave them a small slice of normal in what has otherwise been a crazy year, and I am so glad I had the opportunity to do that. Looking back at the moments we captured brings a smile to my face over and over again.
I want to give a big thank you to Marty, the owner of Friendship Trees, for opening up her space and really opening her heart to us photographers, so that we have this gorgeous backdrop here in Maryland for our Christmas tree farm family photo sessions. I truly enjoy my time at Friendship Trees and I look forward to making this a tradition for years to come.
